Peace Day Commemoration in Beavercreek

1:00-1:45 Peace Walk: Join us to march flags from around the world from beginning Beavercreek High School along the Dayton Xenia bikepath and ending at the Heartfulness Institute, 3153 Lantz Road, Beavercreek
2:00 Planting: A White Pine, a tree defined by the Iroquois League of Native Americans as a symbol of Peace in the early 1800’s.
2:00 Children develop Peace Artwork
2:10 Proclamation by the City of Beavercreek officially received by Fred Arment, Executive Director, International Cities of Peace
2:20 Guy Jones, co-chair of the Five Rivers Chautauqua explains the significance of the White Pine tree for Peace
2:30 Experience of Guided Relaxation and Heartfulness Meditation
3:00 Children present Peace Art
