The Golden Rule Institute is a service of International Cities of Peace, a Dayton-based nonprofit corporation with Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC, the NGO body for the United Nations. The Institute is dedicated to forging a new relationship between our global society and the ancient ethic of the Golden Rule.
The ETHOS (Engineers in Technical Humanitarian Opportunities of Service-Learning) Center seeks to provide service-learning experiences through technical immersions, student activities, research and hands-on projects. Through these experiences, students have gained perspectives on how engineering and technology are influenced by the world. Participating students have been able to use their engineering skills
United Against Violence of Greater Dayton (UAVGD), sponsored by Samaritan Behavioral Health, is a collaboration of people and organizations committed to changing the culture of violence through the development of knowledge and skills to bring systemic change resulting in a safe community.
